Dan DeMerell Campership Fund
Camp Blue Spruce is honored to offer financial assistance to families who want a child to attend camp, but cannot afford the full tuition, through the Dan DeMerell Campership Fund.
Dr. Dan DeMerell, a beloved Portland allergist, believed that children with food allergies should not be limited. Each day Dan met with young patients and their families coping with the challenges of food allergies. He cared for them physically and inspired them to embrace full and barrier-free lives. He taught each of his patients how to stay safe when navigating social and school settings, and gave their families the confidence and reassurance to allow their children to participate. The Campership Fund is a great way to honor his legacy.
In order to receive financial assistance, please complete a camper registration application and pay the $150 deposit (if you are able to pay at this time.) All campership recipients are required to pay the deposit. Payment plans are available upon request. After registering your child, submit the campership form.
Camperships for 2018 already have been awarded.
